Q: When is your availability?
A: My preferred time to photograph for outdoor sessions is an hour / hour and a half before sunset. You can view my outdoor availability here. In-home indoor sessions are best when the sun is nice and bright to shine into your home, which depending on your home is mid morning/afternoon. Studio sessions are booked late morning / early afternoons.
Q: When should I book?
A: Please send me a message as soon as you know you want to have a session with me. I only take 8-10 sessions per month so booking in advance to secure your spot is best. Maternity is best when you're 32-35 weeks, and lifestyle newborn is best when they're under a month old!
Q: Is there a deposit?
A: All sessions require a non-refundable retainer fee to book your session, which will be applied to your session cost. This is not a separate fee. This is so your session date and time is fully secured, and I won't book anything else for that date. The remaining balance must be paid prior or on your session date. The retainer is due at booking when signing the contract.
Q: How do I get my images?
A: You will receive your images in digital format on your own personal online password protected gallery. Galleries typically include at least 50 images, from there you will select the amount of images that came from your session, and download. My process after our session is to delete all the blurry, duplicate, not flattering images, (but I do include those awesome candid photos). I do not give out unedited, RAW files/images.
Q: When will I get my images?
A: My turnaround time is 3-4 weeks (and 4-5 weeks during mid summer to end of fall). I will usually post a preview on FB within the first week of our session, so you can see your gorgeous photos before the full gallery is ready!
Q: Do you offer prints?
A: Yes! You're more than welcome to buy any prints or other products through me. Since I use professional labs, the quality is lovely! I can not guarantee quality if you print elsewhere.
Q: Where are the outdoor locations for the sessions?
A: The place for your outdoor session can be either your choosing or if you cannot think of a place I can recommend several!
